Some beautiful paintings, but the works of well-known artists are of poor quality... The whole thing is not pleasant with a sweltering temperature: 1st museum visited without air conditioning! Isn't such a temperature harmful to the tables?? I almost didn't enter: here you have to drop off your SAC at MAIN (even very small) at the entrance! Never seen before in any country or city...
Nous avons apprécié la visite de ce musée, sa petite taille permet de prendre le temps d'observer la richesse des oeuvres exposées. more »We enjoyed the visit of this museum, its small size allows you to take the time to observe the richness of the works on display.
Excellent collection of Roden
One of the nicest museums I've ever been to. Its Size is compact,-rather small, than big. But It is convenient for tourists. If you come to 10 am (to the opening), then just to 12.30 (to the closing of the museum for lunch) you can get acquainted with all three floors of the exposition. The Second floor reflects the real development of artistic art from 1850 to 1900 from Romanticism to Impressionism and post-impressionism to symbolism. Monticelli, Corot, Troyon, Lepine, Sargent, Cezanne, Boudin, Jongkind, Pissaro, Bonnard, Degas. From the first steps of the wooden staircase...
