#1 of 33 in Things to do in Megeve
Must see · Historic Site · Tourist Spot
Fourteen chapels and oratories represent Christ's passion at Le Chemin du Calvaire. This pilgrimage site, constructed by Ambroise Martin, was built to simulate Jesus Christ's suffering on Calvary in Jerusalem. Walking to the site gives time for quiet meditation, but to get inside the chapels, you'll need to arrange for a tour guide. On your way out, look for "Le refuge du Calvaire," a small restaurant with a terrace. Plan to see Le Chemin du Calvaire and other attractions that appeal to you using our Megeve trip maker app.
