  • We have been closing the winter season in this area for years and know it on our thumb. In The May holiday prices are a lot more interesting, the snow still good, the temperature pleasant and the slopes almost extinct. You want it. Later in the day the snow can be a bit papperiger in the valley, there are plenty of high slopes and a glacier that you can reach by train. Huge ski resort, with pistes that you can easily reach from all three villages. Transport to and from the slopes is easily and effectively arranged with a free shuttle bus. In terms of apartment you want to sit in the highest/Middle village, you do groceries in the middle Village at Carrefour. (At Sherpa supermarkets you pay the main prize). Take a look at which apartment you are taking. French apartments are on the small side, which is no different here. At the end of the season you do not want a low budget apartment, which are already not top at the beginning of the season... At the end you really don't want to be there. In The village there are plenty of possibilities to entertain you if you do not want or can go on a day.

  • the glacier melts and is in a catastrophic state after this hot summer and no or almost no real snowfall since early September . it is a shame to open on 19 October to satisfy people who they could even wait until November or December; let nature do its work and let the glacier in peace, it is already suffering terribly; RESPECT THE and circulate this info otherwise the glacier will disappear even faster and it is the same so-called eco-friendly that will regret it

  • Great place to visit for both hiking, climbing, water sports and mountain biking in summer. Knowing someone local to the area gave me a great insight, almost everyone speaks English or simply is English. Winter offers a ski resort with plenty to do if winter sports are more your speed.
  • What a place. Mountain biking. Walking. Perfect place for outdoor activities. Plenty of bars and pubs. Nice place. Easy to get places. Nice people
