Il fondo della Valle di gares porta ancora Chiari i segni della tempesta di fine ottobre che ha colpito il bellunese. I punti di osservazione dalla cascata sono due. Il sentiero che porta alla cascata bassa dista poco più di 15 minuti dal rifugio ed è facilmente raggiungibile.

The bottom of the Valley of Races still bears clear the signs of the storm of late October that hit the Bellunese. There are two vantage points from the waterfall. The path to the low waterfall is just over 15 minutes from the hut and is easily accessible.

Angolo ancora incontaminato e poco frequentato dai turisti di massa. Si raggiunge dal parcheggio di Gares in 20 comodi minuti. Per chi non ha difficoltà si prosegue per un'altra mezz'ora di sentiero e ci si inoltra dell'orrido appena sopra la cascata. * il sentiero dell'orrido è attrezzato con scale e corde; consigliato a chi ha un minimo di esperienza nel trekking e con le calzature adatte!

A still unspoiled corner and little frequented by mass tourists. It is reached from the Gares car park in 20 comfortable minutes. For those who have no difficulty, continue for another half hour of trail and head to the horrid just above the waterfall. The horrid path is equipped with ladders and ropes; recommended for those who have a minimum of experience in trekking and with suitable footwear!
