  • This clock tower clearly dominates the skyline within central Cavalese. So different in appearance to anything that we are used to seeing in the UK.  more »
  • This is the main church of Cavalese. It was built in 1464 at the time of the plague; It was rebuilt in 1871 and adapted to the Vatican's liturgical norms in 1970. Externally it is very characteristic, the steeple resembles a tower of a castle. Internally, Strange but true, it resembles a theatre. Very very quaint and beautiful. To visit.

  • Originally from 1500, it was rebuilt in 1870, taking on its current form. Its bell tower serves as a civic tower and served to control the floods of the Gambis stream, which crosses Cavalese right next to the church.
