  • Very strange welcome at reception, not entirely sure we were really wanted as visitors to this museum, but we were keen to see what Porto had to offer. Luckily we also found some street art.

  • The main exhibitions were closed when we visited. They had a “best of” the museum. It was well displayed. When I compare this museum to the dozens around the world, this is just average. Worth...

  • One of the worst museums I ever seen in my life. Only one plus of this visit was nice architecture of this building. Everything else is one huge minus. Collection is poor and during our visit was even more poor that can be expected. In summary this place is collection of portraits and landscapes and that's it. Paintings are poorly lit and very poorly exposed. Service average but impeccable. Overpriced.
  • Nice museum with an extended collection of porcelaines, and paintings. The building itself is also worth seeing.
