Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Sat): kick back and relax at Plage de Port-Choiseul, then examine the collection at Musee des Suisses Dans Le Monde, then see the interesting displays at Musee Barbier-Mueller, and finally explore the world behind art at Collections Baur, Musee des Arts d’Extreme-Orient. Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Explore hidden gems such as Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs and Chateau Et Jardin Medieval. Fort de la Ligne Maginot and Eglise Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to La Collegiale de la Conversion de St-Paul (in St-Paul-de-Vence), Chapelle des Penitents Blancs (in Peillon) and Eglise de Biot (in Biot). "Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.
On the 19th (Sat), head outdoors with Les Gorges de la Diosaz, then take in the awesome beauty at Glacier des Bossons, and then meet the residents at Parc de Merlet. Keep things going the next day: admire the masterpieces at Musee Alpin, then contemplate the waterfront views at Lac Blanc, then take in the awesome beauty at Brevent Cable Car, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at Chamonix Cemetery.
