Casablanca

The port of Casablanca, Morocco's largest city and economic hub, represents the country's beating heart, established as a French protectorate in 1912.
Venture out of the city with trips to Rabat (Hassan Tower & Kasbah des Oudaias) and Bab Mellah (in Sale). Spend the 2nd (Sun) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hassan II Mosque and contemplate the long history of Temple Beth-El.

Moscow, Russia to Casablanca is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also take a bus; or do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference moving from Moscow Standard Time to Western European Standard Time is minus 3 hours. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Moscow in May, with highs in Casablanca at 26°C and lows at 19°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Mon) so you can go by car to Marrakech.

Drive from Casablanca to Marrakech in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle; or take a train. Traveling from Casablanca in May, you will find days in Marrakech are somewhat warmer (35°C), and nights are about the same (18°C). Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel to Fes.

You can fly from Marrakech to Fes in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Fes when traveling from Marrakech in May, with lows around 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) early enough to drive to Chefchaouen.
