A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Sun): head off the coast to Île de la Cité, step off the mainland to explore Ile Saint-Louis, then step into the grandiose world of Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte, then steep yourself in history at Arc de Triomphe, and finally steep yourself in history at Eiffel Tower. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the world behind art at Louvre Museum, then wander the streets of Trocadero, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, and finally ponder the world of politics at Hotel de Ville.

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
On the 16th (Tue), see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour and then take a stroll through Le Suquet. On the next day, step into the grandiose world of Haut de Cagnes, take in the spiritual surroundings of Monastère de Cimiez, then steep yourself in history at Vieux La Turbie, then take a memorable drive along Tete de Chien, and finally wander the streets of Vieille Ville.

Made up of five picturesque towns on the Ligurian coast, Cinque Terre is Italy's answer to the French Riviera.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Cinque Terre Trails and Borgo Storico di Corniglia. Step out of the city life by going to Footpath Monterosso - Vernazza and Grotta del Vento. Get out of town with these interesting Cinque Terre side-trips: Cava Museo Fantiscritti (in Carrara) and Duomo di San Cristoforo (in Barga). The adventure continues: take a stroll around Vernazza, pause for some serene contemplation at Convento dei Cappuccini e Chiesa di San Francesco, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Chiesa di San Lorenzo, and explore the historical opulence of Castello Doria.

Traveling by car from Nice to Cinque Terre takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Cinque Terre when traveling from Nice in July, with lows around 65°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sat) so you can drive to San Gimignano.
