Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Visit 9/11 Memorial and St. Patrick's Cathedral for their historical value. There's much more to do: take a stroll through Times Square, snap pictures at Brooklyn Bridge, get great views at Top of the Rock, and examine the collection at New York Public Library.
