A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Take a break from Paris with a short trip to Palace of Versailles in Versailles, about 48 minutes away. There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of Louvre Museum, admire the masterpieces at Centre National d'Art et de Culture George Pompidou, appreciate the extensive heritage of Montmartre, and take a stroll through Le Marais.

In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Milan: Turin (Museo Nazionale del Cinema & Museo Egizio) and Verona (Torre dei Lamberti, Casa di Giulietta, &more). There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Duomo di Milano, steep yourself in history at Castello Sforzesco, admire the striking features of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and explore the different monuments and memorials at Monumental Cemetery.
