A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Louvre Museum and Musee d'Orsay. Your inner history buff will appreciate Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Get out of town with these interesting Paris side-trips: Versailles (The Trianons & The Hamlet, Palace of Versailles, &more). Medieval Capital of the Dordogne Valley

Sarlat-la-Caneda is the capital of the former Périgord Noir, now referred to as the Aquitaine region that is home to a historical area consisting of impeccably preserved 14th-century buildings and sites.
You'll explore and learn at Lascaux Caves 4 and Lascaux II. Chateau de Castelnaud and Chateau de Beynac will appeal to history buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Sarlat-la-Caneda side-trips: Le Regourdou (in Lascaux) and Parc Le Bournat (in Le Bugue). There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Chateau des Milandes, steep yourself in history at Chateau de Commarque, and take in nature's colorful creations at Les Jardins de Marqueyssac.

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Get some historical perspective at Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild and Le Sentier du Littoral, Cap d'Antibes. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Nice: Easy Dive (in Juan-les-Pins) and Musee Picasso (in Antibes). Spend the 21st (Sat) exploring the fascinating underwater world at Marineland. The adventure continues: take a stroll through Vieille Ville, admire the striking features of Tour et Couvent Saint Francois, and pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedrale Saint-Nicolas a Nice.

You can do a combination of car and flight from Sarlat-la-Caneda to Nice in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Plan for a bit warmer nights when traveling from Sarlat-la-Caneda in August since evenings lows in Nice dip to 25°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Mon) so you can drive to Saint-Tropez.

Saint-Tropez is a town, 100km west of Nice, in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. We've included these beaches for you: Plage de Sylvabelle and Plage de Vergeron. Venture out of the city with trips to Le Lavandou (Plage d'Aiguebelle, Plage de Jean Blanc, &more). There's more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Plage de Pampelonne and stroll through Heraclee Beach.

Getting from Nice to Saint-Tropez by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a train; or do a combination of train and ferry. Expect a bit warmer weather when traveling from Nice in August: highs in Saint-Tropez hover around 38°C, while lows dip to 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Thu) early enough to drive to Chamonix.

"Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.
On the 27th (Fri), glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, then take a memorable tour with OXO Canyoning, and then get outside with Aiguille du Midi. On the 28th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: meet the residents at Parc de Merlet, then take the plunge with A2L-Parapente, and then head outdoors with Les Gorges de la Diosaz.

Drive from Saint-Tropez to Chamonix in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
