Lyon

— 14 nights

Culinary Capital of France

Lyon is a historical city with a vibrant cultural scene as the birthplace of cinema, the silk capital of the globe, and the second biggest Renaissance city following Venice.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Musee Miniature et Cinema and Fresque des Lyonnais. Visit Basilique Notre Dame de Fourviere and Cite medievale de Perouges for their historical value. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lyon: Musee des traditions bugistes (in Saint-Rambert-en-Bugey), Le couvent (in Chazelles-sur-Lavieu) and Maison de Lamartine (in Milly-Lamartine). There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon, appreciate the extensive heritage of Colline de Fourviere, do a tasting at Domaine Le Fagolet-Gite La Girardiere, and walk around Parc de la Tete d'Or.
