The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Get some cultural insight at Old Town (Altstadt) and Friedhof Fluntern (Fluntern Cemetery). Take a break from the city and head to Lake Zurich and Lake Lucerne. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Strandbad Tiefenbrunnen, take a stroll through Bahnhofstrasse, pause for some serene contemplation at Grossmunster, and look for gifts at Uhrenmuseum Beyer Zürich.

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Wed): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at The Matterhorn and then hit the slopes at Matterhorn Ski Paradise. On the 26th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: enjoy some diversion at Clay Shoot Zermatt, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Hohbalmen, and then get outside with Monta Rosa Hutte.

Traveling by train from Zurich to Zermatt takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and train. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Fri) early enough to travel to Durbuy.
