For a daily dose of excitement, medieval jousting tournaments are held twice per day between the two walls--while this may sound like a typical touristy show, it's actually an entertaining display of combative competition and horsemanship.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Sun): learn about winemaking at Winemaker Workshops, learn about winemaking at O'Vineyards, get to know the fascinating history of La Cite Medievale, then step into the grandiose world of Chateau Comtal, then contemplate the long history of Cathar Castles, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Saint-Nazaire. On your second day here, do a tasting at Chateau Du Donjon, then do a tasting at Chateau St Jacques d’Albas, then learn about winemaking at Chateau Canet, and finally don't miss a visit to Place Carnot.
