Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Head to Granville Island and Granville Island Public Marketfor some retail therapy. You'll get in some beach time at Kitsilano Beach and Sunset Beach. Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Shop till you drop at The Strip and The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort. When in Las Vegas, make a side trip to see Hoover Dam in Boulder City, approximately Boulder City away. There's still lots to do: make a trip to Fountains of Bellagio, examine the collection at The Mob Museum, try your luck at Paris Las Vegas, and enjoy breathtaking views from Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck.

Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Fifth Avenue and Chelsea Market. 9/11 Memorial and Ellis Island will appeal to history buffs.
