Britain's second-largest city, Birmingham was known as the City of a Thousand Trades and the Workshop of the World in the Victorian era.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Wed): see the interesting displays at Cadbury World and then contemplate the long history of Charlecote Mill. Keep things going the next day: admire the landmark architecture of Shakespeare's Birthplace, then step into the grandiose world of Warwick Castle, then don't miss a visit to The Tower @ RSC, and finally take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports.
