In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
On the 8th (Thu), admire the landmark architecture of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Milano, then get to know the fascinating history of Piazza del Duomo, and finally contemplate the long history of Castello Sforzesco.

Vilnius, Lithuania to Milan is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Vilnius to Milan. Expect a bit warmer temperatures when traveling from Vilnius in July; daily highs in Milan reach 34°C and lows reach 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Thu) so you can drive to Canazei.

Canazei

Canazei is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located in the upper part of the Val di Fassa, about 110km northeast of Trento. On the 9th (Fri), don't miss a visit to Funivia Pass Pordoi, trek along Sass Pordoi, get great views at Sentiero Viel del Pan, then don't miss a visit to Sella Pass, then hit the slopes at Val Gardena, and finally don't miss a visit to Ortisei: Zona Pedonale. Here are some ideas for day two: head outdoors with La Terrazza delle Dolomiti and then trot along with Charlotte Horse Riding.

You can drive from Milan to Canazei in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and taxi; or do a combination of train and bus.
