Portoferraio is a town and comune in the province of Livorno, on the edge of the eponymous harbour of the island of Elba. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Spiaggia di Capo Bianco and Spiaggia delle Ghiaie. Napoleonic Mills House and Forte Stella are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's much more to do: stroll through Procchio Beach, kick back and relax at Spiaggia di Nisporto, discover the deep blue sea with Diving in Elba, and get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Acquario dell'Elba.
