Culinary Capital of France

Lyon is a historical city with a vibrant cultural scene as the birthplace of cinema, the silk capital of the globe, and the second biggest Renaissance city following Venice.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon and Hameau Duboeuf. Get some historical perspective at Basilique Notre Dame de Fourviere and Secrets d'Apiculteur. Get out of town with these interesting Lyon side-trips: La Roche de Solutre (in Solutre-Pouilly), Chateau de Cormatin (in Cormatin) and Tournus (Abbaye Saint-Philibert & Hotel-Dieu-Musee Greuze). The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Musee Miniature et Cinema, make a trip to Traboules du Vieux Lyon, indulge your senses at Chateau Historique de Pierreclos, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Abbey of Cluny.
