Val d'Isere
— 4 nights

Val d'Isère is a commune of the Tarentaise Valley, in the Savoie department (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region) in southeastern France. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Refuge du Prariond Par Les Gorges de Malpasset and Sensations Vanoise. Change things up with these side-trips from Val d'Isere: Little St Bernard Pass (in Seez), Glacier de la Grande Motte (in Tignes) and Lac de la Plagne (in Landry). There's much more to do: head outdoors with YaPluKa, make a trip to Col du Mont-Cenis, explore the activities along Lac de Tignes, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Col du Galibier.
