Start off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): get in on the family fun at AviaSim Lyon, admire the striking features of Basilique Notre Dame de Fourviere, and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Vieux Lyon. Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Explore Nice's surroundings by going to Musee Picasso (in Antibes) and La Croisette (in Cannes). There's lots more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Vieille Ville, examine the collection at Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild, admire the natural beauty at Le Jardin Exotique d'Eze, and make a trip to Promenade des Anglais.
