Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Step out of the city life by going to The Turtle Hospital and Fishing Charters & Tours. You'll explore and learn at Key West Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters Museum and Truman Little White House. Step out of Key West to go to Big Pine Key and see Bahia Honda State Park, which is approximately 50 minutes away. There's lots more to do: stroll the grounds of Key West Cemetery, explore and take pictures at Fort Zachary Taylor, and cruise along The Overseas Highway.
