    Sulemaniye Mosque is an impressive, beautiful mosque in the heart of Istanbul. It is interesting that it is right near a major thoroughfare and people pass through the grounds going to and from daily.  more »

    Great place with soul and wonderful view! Enter is free! You can't enter in mosque when the time of prayer is, so check the schedule. When I was there it was 13-14h, but they are praying 5 times per day. You can't come to mosque on that time but that's just one part of monument, you can see all the monument by the time when pray finish. It's on the top of the one part of city, so go by walk and enjoy in tiny colourful streets.

    A stunning Ottoman era masterpiece. Totally amazed with the architecture and design and just impressed with how it was constructed without any technology. Interior acoustics is so well designed that one can see why loud speakers were not needed in those days. The Turkish people must really be applauded for the manner in which the entire masjid and grounds are maintained.👌👍😃
