The enclosed area, located 50 floors up in the Prudential Tower, provides a 360-degree view of the cityscape, including important landmarks such as the Hancock Tower, Fenway Park, and Harvard University. On a clear day, you can see up to 100 miles. Be sure to pick up an audio guide, which is included in the cost of entry. It provides information about the points of interest you can see and offers historical information about the different neighborhoods.     We spent an hour parking and walking around to find correct entrance. We finally talked to security who informed us it closed in March along with the restaurant. Nowhere did we see online it was...  more »

    I would recommend visiting the observatory at the start of your visit to Boston. We went here on our last day and it was so interesting to see where everything was in the city. I think if we went on.....  more »

    Beautiful views of the city from all directions. Fun exhibits on the floor, a citizenship game show, historical look at Boston's immigration patterns and gift shop. Info on famous Bostonians and maps. Really enjoyed everything. Very fast elevator ride to the top.

    This was a great stop. While it was a little hard to find the entrance, it led us to find a small indoor mall and a really pretty courtyard between the buildings. The views are incredible and a great way to get a better sense of the layout of the city.
