We also have a wine bar with over 37 wines for you try. The best part is that every weekend we change out some of the wines so that you can try wines from all over Texas. We made a stop at TX Hill Country Olive Co during a mid-week day date. The olive farm offers tours of the grove and their pressing facilities. We walked the grove and took pics of the different types.... more »

This place has really expanded in the years since we were last there. It is very convenient and easy to find on Fitzhugh near Bell Springs. They have a couple of tasting stations where they encourage you to taste as many flavors of olive oil and balsamic vinegar as you would like - either straight or with bread. They also have a dining area where you can enjoy a meal or snack. We liked the Basil Olive Oil the best and bought a bottle. Our favorite balsamic vinegar was the fig.

Love trying their different olive oils, and come here each time I am headed to the Hill Country. Got the Jalapeno this time and can't wait to cook with it. We also ate lunch at their cafe. The caprese salad and roasted pepper soup were excellent, and made for a great start on our wine adventure. Also, try the Italian Herb mix with olive oil, especially with the bread they serve with the meal!
