Totally Awesome! You will learn everything about our states unique coral reef system and so much more about the Florida Keys and our surrounding environment. It's totally free, based on donations only, which you should feel honored to give it's so well worth it. You have the most friendly, knowledgeable, volunteers to give you information, as well as guided tours. I was given the most awesome poster of the reef system both front and back explain the entire coral reef. I had wanted to go there each time I went down to KW, but somehow kept missing it. Check the hours because they are closed on Mondays. This is a Key West must see and every bit worth it!

The Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center was a lot of fun for my family and I. The staff (whom I believe consisted entirely of volunteers) were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Their passion for what they are doing is very evident. The exhibits are very interactive and educational. The Aquarius exhibit was my personal favorite. Surprisingly, this is one of the very few things you can do for free in Key West, and happened to be one of the best things we did.
