At World Trade Center's Liberty Park, relax, reflect, and recharge in the midst of Manhattan's bustling downtown. Inspired by the iconic High Line, the park overlooks the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. Three stairways, a ramp from Greenwich Street and a pedestrian bridge lead into the park. The park's most memorable feature is the 6.1 m (20 ft) tall "living wall" made from periwinkle, Japanese spurge, winter creeper, sedge, and Baltic ivy. See the iconic Sphere, a bronze sculpture that survived the September 11 attacks, and the rebuilt Greek Orthodox Church that did not share the same fate. Notice the names of those who perished in 2001 terrorist attack engraved on the edge of the fountain. To plan New York City vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

This is a small elevated park offering amazing views of the Financial District and World Trade Center. It doesn't figure in many tourist brochures so most visitors only stumble upon it while wandering around. Add this to your itinerary if you're looking for picturesque but not too crowded spots in the area.

Every American should visit the 911 Memorial. The tour guide was excellent. The facts she shared was priceless.
