  • Climbing to the top of Pilgrim Monument is great fun for those with strong legs and an equally strong heart. The Monument is well over a hundred steps to the top, no elevator, but the view from the top is spectacular. It is the tallest all granite structure in America. Also visit the historical and cultural museum at the base of the Monument. The view from the top is well worth the climb, but not for someone who suffers from heart disease.
  • A nice monument up on the hill. It is a few dollars per person to get in to the museum and monument, but you also have to pay for parking (at least in some seasons). The town is right down the hill so you can do the monument and town all in the same day easily. The monument is well kept and very regal. There are great views as well.
