Salem Witch Trials Memorial features a row of benches installed in a stone wall. Each bench is engraved with the name of a victim of the trials. All gimmicks aside, this is a must see. There are Stone benches with names of each of the wrongfully convicted and executed individuals, along with how and when they were murdered. The wall around it.... more »
Wonderful place to learn about our history. I recommend taking an informational tour. When I go I leave tokens for Burroughs, Bishop, contemplate how I am able to practice my religion freely, and yet, they were only perceived as being Witches, died for it. Salem is a great New England sea town. I recommend going in September.
Totally worth the trip to Salem. It was absolutely awesome. Shop owners were very knowledgeable about what they sold. Everyone was pleasant. Such a unique place to visit.
