A network of walkways along the San Antonio River, The San Antonio River Walk winds its way under a series of bridges. Lined with bars, restaurants, and shops, the walkways offer a different perspective of the city, away from the traffic buzzing one level above. You can explore most of the city's main tourist attractions by following this network of pedestrian-friendly sidewalks--without having to worry about parking or getting stuck in commuter traffic. In many sections, no safety fences separate the sidewalks from the water, so be cautious, especially with small children. Beautiful and romantic. The tour guide was great! His name was Juan and had us informed and laughing the entire trip on the boat. We were able to drink on the boat and while walking on the river walk. They also have a fence with locks like the famous one in Paris. One of my favorite places in Texas.

This place is amazing and beyond beautiful!! Good for a good walk with friends, good food, good drinks and good attractions. Wonderful for couples too. There is a boat too that is really special. You can listen about the story of the place and it’s a good chance to make friends! It’s a great attraction of San Antonio!! My husband and I loved!!!
