Savannah's main cemetery for over century, Colonial Park Cemetery has over 9,000 graves. New interments stopped in 1853, but the cemetery remained open for the public. The grounds are landscaped with local species, including trees draped with Spanish moss that give the city its mysterious vibe.     This is such and interesting and relaxing experience just to wander around for half an hour. Make sure to grab some coffee from Cup to Cup just a block up the road first!  more »

    This is a great place to see. The crypts r people buried atop one another. They have the grave of dueling brothers. They have graves of famous people. Unlike any graveyard I've ever seen!  more »

    It always amazing to learn about the history of Savannah. They have ghost tours in that you can sigh up to get more historic knowledge. Photos taken 9-13-2019.

    Densely rich historical information and graves are well respected. Didn't like the fact that a graveyard was turned into a park where you can jog through it or take your dog to relieve itself on nearby markers but nice place nonetheless.
