Home to the area's largest sandstone arch, Devil's Bridge Trail offers visitors a chance to explore and experience rugged terrain without the strain of an intense hike. Lined with cacti, rock formations, and desert foliage, the trail provides the opportunity to hike to the top of its namesake arch as well as its shaded underside. Though the 2.9 km (1.8 mi) roundtrip hike from the trailhead is moderately difficult, it's fully paved and accessible to hikers of all levels and capabilities. Keep in mind that the arch itself is not fenced off, so exercise caution. The beginning of this hike is very flat-- unfortunately the parking is not great. you have to park somewhere along the highway and it can be as much as a mile to hike into the start of the trail... more »

Highly recommend but get there early! My husband and I got to the paved parking lot around 6:20 am - there were 5 other cars parked. You definitely need a 4x4 off road vehicle to go on the dirt road..... more »

Great hike, but should be noted that it is not an easy hike. It is mislabeled and is more like 4 miles round trip with a steep incline near the end

Parked just after 5am and was the second car in the overflow lot. Took about 45 min to reach the bridge. I was back in my car just after 7am. Don't attempt to drive the unpaved portion unless you have a lifted truck or ATV. Saw a huge tarantula on the roadway coming back. Well worth getting up early.
