First opened in 1893, St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park houses every species of crocodilian, including American alligators and crocodiles. The farm has become a full zoological park, displaying many exotic species of birds, primates, and reptiles. You can explore the park's expansive grounds as you wander through different habitats, including albino alligators, lemurs of Madagascar, and reptiles native to Florida. The daily wildlife shows are a highlight--each one showcases a certain species or group. Alligator shows sometimes include a feeding session. I am so surprised with all of the hidden treasures in this town. The alligator farm is something like I have never experienced. My children love animals and this was BEYOND my expectations. We could not stay the whole day because the kids were so tired but we will def. be back very soon for a visit.

This place is awesome! This was my second time here and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. It has a ton of alligators and other creatures, and tons of interesting facts and information about the creatures that reside there. It has the biggest alligator I have ever seen! You can hang around and watch the attendants feed them if you like. There are exotic birds and all kinds of turtles as well. It's a great time for the kiddies and adults as well ( adult beverages are sold inside the park as an added bonus). There's a gift shop on site that's pretty reasonable. It's always a great time at this place if you like alligators.
