  I have been here 3 times to hear the lecture on flour milling in the working mill. Solid historical and technical talk. The millstone turns and makes flour. The smells are worth the trip I love...  more »

  Love this place! Check out Pioneer Christmas and see the demonstration of the mill and learn the history. The water wheel is spectacular.

  One of the Hidden treasures of golden state! Built in 1846 and 2nd largest wheel in 🇺🇸 this mill is worth a visit if you are in Napa valley! It is still functional and kept in great condition. It’s a engineering marvel! There’s a lot more than I thought in grinding the grains! Tour was fantastic! The tour guide was a miller himself and walked us thru all the history and technicality of this mill! Definitely a must do activity!
