Hike on S Rim Trail for a visually spectacular experience, with many waterfalls large and small cutting through the rocky hills. Climb to Artist Point for an open view of the valley, and look out for wildlife, such as bison. Talk to the park rangers for information about the plant and animal life, as well as the history of the park and the trail itself. Alternatively, choose a ranger-guided hike, where they give out information as you pass the important spots on the trail. The route, mostly paved, is easy enough for walkers of all skill levels.     Loved this trail it was fairly easy however some elevation changes which could challenge some. uncle toms trail was closed so didn’t get to branch off on that portion. plenty of access points and...  more »
