Create an itinerary including Banje Beach
Just below the Old Town of Dubrovnik, Banje Beach offers crystal clear waters, a sandy shoreline, and a range of water sports. It also ranks among the most popular beaches of South Dalmatia. Just steps away from the sea are a host of cafes, bars, and ice-cream stands. Grab a lounge chair and relax in the shade while sipping on a cold drink, or dive into the Adriatic Sea. You can also join a wide range of activities at the site, among which are jet-skiing, paragliding, and banana boats, to name a few. • High priced beach access with a view. It's the closest beach to Old Town Dubrovnik and offers a large bar area with both indoor and outdoor seating. The price for a chair and umbrella was pricey so if you're going make sure to spend a few hours to get your money's worth. There is a decent sized drink menu at above average, but not exorbitant, prices. We didn't try the food but there seemed to be a number of sandwich and salad options. The beach is rocky, like most along the coast, but the water is clear and feels great on a hot day. The waitstaff are a little slow so be prepared to walk up to the bar yourself. Also, on a weekday June afternoon there were only a few beach chairs available so plan to go early.
  • A bit wavy sea. 2 sunbeds and umbrella costs around 45€. 10€for umbrella, so that you can use your towels in public side of the beach. Not a sand beach but better than other beaches. Nice view especially in the sea.
