I will admit that the cost of the ticket sort of turned me off. Plus, the packages of tickets either end up making visitors with limited time waste their money. I do understand that this church...

This is definitely a must do in Split. The cathedral is very ornate and nice. Very peaceful. I definitely recommend going to the top of the tower for nice views of Spilt. The crypt is tiny and has a nice statue of mother Mary. Be aware that they are closed to visitors if they have mass etc

Beautiful old cathedral. We got there during the rain, and it was time to look at the interior. Inside the church, one could observe many artifacts from completely different times. The view from the tower is not bad, but it was quite windy at the top and we didn't spend much time
