For a little Czech-flavored taste of Paris, visit Petrin Tower, dominating the surrounding area from its location high above the Vltava River. Built in 1891, this 63 m (206 ft) tall steel structure is a scaled-down copy of Paris' Eiffel Tower. The structure features 299 steps, which run on the inside of the tower and lead to two separate observation platforms. After decades of service as a transmission tower, massive renovations in 1999 turned the structure into a tourist attraction, adding a small cafe, gift shop, and exhibit area to its lower levels. Pay the small fee to access the tower's observation platforms, offering unbeatable views of the entire city. A tad bit over rated but beautiful nonetheless. Beautiful grounds and trees surround the tower. After hiking up steep hills to see it, I was grateful for the “I Love You” cafe east of the tower. Homemade pies and cakes with a nice glass of lemonade to enjoy. The whole area is a great place to walk around exploring or just sitting under a tree resting, enjoying the view. Oh yes, there’s a Tram you can take up and down the mountain if you don’t want to hike all the way up.

Amazing views from the Tower. The price is a fair price, I didn't have to queue long - around 3 minutes. I paid to go up on the lift, which was well worth it, and then walked back down and then walked down the hill to Charles Bridge (which my legs regretted the next day) I definitely recommend visiting especially on a clear day. You can see the whole of Prague
