Commonly known as the Marble Church, Frederiks Kirke (Marmorkirken) is an Evangelical Lutheran church with the largest religious dome in Scandinavia. Construction began in 1749, but due to financial troubles and unfortunate circumstances, the church remained unfinished until 1894. From the outside, the Baroque architecture is reminiscent of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Make a quick stop inside to view the decorative lining of the dome, which spans 31 m (101 ft). Entry is free, but on certain days of the week you are allowed to pay a fee to climb to a viewpoint where you can enjoy bird's-eye views of the whole city. Check the website for further information, and for dates and times of services if you would like to worship. Located in close proximity to Amalienborg Palace, this lovely church is worth a quick stop. It’s beautiful, especially the round ceiling that evokes memories of the pantheon in Rome.

A stunning church with rococo architecture, one of the largest domes. Exquisite and elaborate style with beautiful ornate and unique design. Free entry. You can see the details and contemplate its perfection and grandeur. A must visit in Copenhagen!

Like most big buildings in Copenhagen, this one is also superb on the outside and not so impressive on the inside. Basically over a metro station, it's easily accessible. The most impressive part are the statues outside though.
