Sondermarken, Copenhagen

Nice place to visit in Copenhagen surroundings (Amager). It worth it the walk or bike ride with the feeling of enjoying the kind of nature connection one can have here, walking through a swampy terrain, among geese, oxen and beautiful landscapes, rewarded at the end with a great sunset. Remember bringing water, hat, sunscreen and some snacks. In the way back to Copenhagen, if you're really hungry, I suggest to go for "all you can eat" in Cyprus Restaurant (Fisketorvet Shopping Mall) that includes pizza, salads and a good variety of dishes.

Søndermarken has everything one needs for a fun and active day out, from scenic trails for walking and running to little spots to train, enjoy a picnic or let the kids play. The park is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and well-kept paths that are perfect for taking a leisurely stroll or getting your heart rate up with a jog. There are also plenty of benches and picnic tables scattered throughout the park, so you can take a break and enjoy the scenery whenever you feel like it. Søndermarken is also located in the heart of the city, close to the zoo, many great restaurants and cafes. In the warmest months, the park is a popular destination for festivals, concerts, cultural events and more, so there's always something exciting going on!
