Made of the remains of shells from millions of microscopic sea creatures, Mons Klint fall 120 m (394 ft) to the sea below. The cliffs emerged at the end of the Ice Age about 11,000 years ago. Marked paths help walkers, riders, and cyclists discover the surroundings. Vantage points along the edge offer views of the sea. Take the stairs to get to the beach. Look for fossils and ambers along the shore, and watch for orchids under the stairs. The cliffs are home to the peregrine falcon, the world's fastest bird, and the rare large blue butterfly. Visit the 18th century park at the northern end of the cliffs that features small houses, ponds, and rolling lawns. • It’s beautiful and a fun walk up and down the stairs however I’m surprised that there’s no free water especially for elderly people or children. Too exploited for money you have to buy very expensive....  more

  • Beautiful place. Be ready to walk stairs. Once you have given all the effort to walk down the stairs… except for the view there’s not a lot more. The rocky beaches are depending on the tide actually not existing. The building with experience centre, and restaurant was not open at the time of our visit
  • Cool for the locals, as this is quite an elevation for flat Denmark - nice walks and the chalk is neat (and messy, beware)! However, it’s modest. The visitor centre is nice (pretty bougie for such a small attraction) but hey the Danish have better budgets! Pack your own food. Lines at the cafe are downright dreadful.
