Visited it only outside. As I have worked in the Danish Army for many years, it was very interesting to see this place, as it was during the time of the cold war

Visited out of season (Nov) and fortunately they still offered the full tour which included the underground secret tunnels. Very welcoming staff and they were very knowledgeable of the cold war museum and the surrounding area. Our tour guide Yan spoke very good English and fortunately for us he did our tour in English. Yan gave us an amazing tour and we would recommend a visit. Thanks

Amazing former military base where you can explore all the equipment, installations, and instruments like radars, canons, missiles and the base itself. You must buy a ticket for a guided tour. It takes 1.5 hours and gives you access to the large underground bunker. It is spectacular and well preserved like a time capsule. This is a "must see" for anyone interested in military and cold war history. The museum has an interesting gift shop with books and some military gear. Bring a jacket (it is cold in the bunker).
