  • A nice collection. Especially the earlier exhibits. The English text was quite small though and I struggled to read it at times. So I suggest bringing your glasses

  • Excellent value for money. Even so, I recommend that you buy the 3 museum ticket for even greater value-Bayeux Tapestry, Battle of Normandy Museum and this, the Museum of Art and History.
  • Excellent museum, really interesting. But possibly avoid if you're with children who need stimulation--there isn't really anything for pre-teens. Also, nothing at all for non-French-speaking children. This isn't a criticism, of course, but just a warning if you happen to have non-French-speaking children with you.
