Create an itinerary including Aiguille des Grands Montets
Aiguille des Grands Montets is the home of the most difficult pistes in Europe. If you’re ready to strap on a snowboard, then try out the board/skier cross park. The area receives less sun than other which conditions stay good until late spring. So, if you’re a pro, or an experienced enthusiast, than these are the slopes for you. Hotels and restaurants are located near the slopes if this is your favorite spot; however, most come for a day trip on the area's challenging slopes. • In a January with little snow, we arrived here after 30cm+ of new snow and a bluebird day. Steep terrain offered multiple options for advanced intermediate to expert skiers both on and off piste.

  • Not for your beginner skier or snowboarder. Very good steep terrain! Long runs I think the longest is near 6km. Great off run skiing. We were even able to see a glacier. However again this is a very steep resort and no beginner runs. Lots of lifts and it's not super crowded.
  • Our last day skiing in Chamonix Mont-Blanc. This ski resort has a beautiful view over the Algentiere glacier. We were blessed with beautiful weather all week though we were hoping for fresh snow.
