Did not see anything after 1900, I think, I just do not appreciate modern art...the paintings are exquisite, both biblical, and personal portraits...

Huge and impressive collection. Mostly classical and modern painting and sculpture. Somewhat out of time/place for the gallery is the really wonderful collection of Pierre Soulanges paintings. You might need multiple days to get through the whole collection . So bank on at least half a day for your visit.

A decent museum with no AC. We visited in April and while weather outside felt amazing it was very hot inside. Take a hand held fan with you. We did the quick speed through version.
