Definitely worth a visit. Tour of the chateau only with a guide. The tour is in French but there very good tour books in different languages.

Magnificent little romantic castle in a superb setting. It's very moving to walk through the rooms in which Lamartine worked in the state they were in. From the different display objects, the story of his life is told to us. It's exciting.
