Create an itinerary including Cathedrale Saint Louis
Built between 1743 and 1754, Cathedrale Saint Louis was first used as the parish church of Saint Louis before becoming the cathedral of the new diocese. During your visit, be sure to check out the lovely collection of period paintings preserved in a graceful baroque style. The architecture is nothing to scoff at either--the building is of the mid-18th century, and the first stone was laid by Louis XV in 1743.
