A cable-stayed bridge, Bandra-Worli Sea Link connects the city's west suburban zones with the downtown core over the waters of Mahim Bay. With four lanes of traffic each way, the bridge serves drivers looking to cut down on travel time by avoiding the less-direct freeway routes. Enjoy the view over the sea as you zip across the causeway, as well as the impressive 128 m (420 ft) tall pylon towers and their cables that help to support the structure. Keep in mind that stopping on the bridge for photography is not allowed. • The Bandra Worli Sea Link is a famous bridge in Mumbai, India, that connects the western suburbs of Bandra and the island of Worli. The bridge spans the Arabian Sea and is a major landmark of the city. The Bandra Worli Sea Link is a cable-stayed bridge that is 5.6 kilometers long, with eight lanes for traffic. It is an engineering marvel that took over a decade to complete and was opened to the public in 2009. The bridge has become an important transportation link for the city, reducing travel time and traffic congestion for commuters. The Bandra Worli Sea Link is also a popular tourist attraction, offering stunning views of the city and the Arabian Sea. Visitors can take a drive or a walk along the bridge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The bridge is also lit up at night, making for a spectacular sight against the backdrop of the city's skyline. While the Bandra Worli Sea Link is an impressive structure and an important transportation link, some visitors have noted that it can get congested during peak hours and may not be the best option for those looking to avoid traffic. Additionally, there are tolls to use the bridge, which can be quite expensive for frequent users
  • A must visit place of Mumbai by 4 wheeler. This Sea Link Road is open for cyclists & Marathon runners for couple of hours only. As a cyclist had great opportunity to pass from here duringJIO CYCLOTHON EVENT.. Pl. note that there is heavy penalty for photography/video shooting on this Sea Link Road.
