Highly recommend! Easily the highlight of our trip to Rome. This was a huge bucket list item we were able to cross off, to see Rome the way Romans used to - on horseback. Our guide Sandro was very helpful, patient and accommodating. My horse Zorro was a delight, and my (green rider) husband's mare was very gentle and careful with him. Will be sure to schedule again whenever we are back in Rome.

A magical way to see the Via Appia!! We had a wonderful time! Jessica took us in an early morning private ride. We had the Via Appia to ourselves. The ground was hard from drought so only walk ib the sandy paths next to the road, but Jessica found some nice stretches of Trott and canter, even a little gallop, further out in the field. Our horses were well kept, shiny fur, good hives, and went in a snaffle. They were very forward and eager to go, yet handled traffic when crossing roads, excavations, constrict and the occasional biker really well. A total joy! We didn’t get any information on the sites we crossed, but had read up on it beforehand, so that was ok.
